Yeah, HBO might **** on the idea. I hope not. Lets see.

185 is pretty light for a LHW. 168 sounds very feasible. Calzaghe was close to 200lbs even when fighting at SMW.

Yeah, you're right about Calzaghe. I remember he said on the Jonathan Ross Show that he'd get up to 14 stones.

The thing is, I think Dawson has grown into the division, despite being relatively close to 175 in between fights. If you look at his body during the second Tarver fight and compare it to the Harding or Adamek fight, IMO it looks more filled out.

I just like to see fighters in the class closest to their natural weight.

That's just my perspective I guess.

I'll look out for the differences in his body, although I wouldn't put too much stock into that because how big you are up top mostly depends on the kind of training you're doing. I mean, look at Khan -- when he teamed up with Roach he slimmed down on top and added more strength to his legs, yet he weighs the same; 135. Dawson might gain a few more pounds over the next few years though, as many of us do when we hit out late 20's/early 30's, but at this age I still think Dawson makes 168 relatively easy.

That's a good point bringing up Khan. Idk if Dawson switched his conditioning routine or what not, so I'll have to look into that.

If he beats Johnson, and Taylor drops out, Dawson would love a shot to win the tournament. [details]
100% that dawson doesn't get involved in the super 6

Who the hell gives a **** about Dawson? he had like 14 people show up at his last two fights.

Dawson hasn't reached the point where he can start demanding big money fights, not even close. He needs to put in more work, try to build a fan base, etc. A fight with Cloud would be a great fight for fans, and if he wins, a good name on his resume that isn't over the age of 39.

We don't need another snoozer like Dawson in this. We already got Dirrell and Ward.

                Bute/Andrade winner, FTW!!

Or you could say Kessler wins the whole thing due to how well he pressed Calslappy !

i agree ward and dirrell have the style too give dawson a tough fight but i think his expierience coupled with his own skills would win him a decision
kessler is a straight up boxer but he has a very good jab and is accurate when he throws.that fight would be 50/50 for me
