I'm beginning to wish Paul Williams would just stop expecting big fights and shut up about it. Yes it's unfair and yes he deserves better, but his team apparently made a crappy offer to Clottey, and pissed him off. It's not being scared when a guy that's not a bigger star than you offers crap money, it is insulting.

Williams needs to just start bending over backwards to make fights if he wants big fights, it's the only way they are going to happen. That or fight nobodies and STFU.

P-Will offered Clottey $650,000 which is more than Joshua has ever made in his career. Along with that there is the exposure on HBO which is very valuable to a figher as well.

Lots of great fighters have lost close decisions to lesser fighters. It really don't mean nothing when you come back and make a statement like Paul made. I'm sorry you can't see that Paul was and is still much better than Quintana.

The offer they made Clottey was more than fair. It's clear ducking by Clottey. He doesn't want another loss, and he realizes there's a good chance he would not win. Paul is by all means a bigger star than Clottey. Who has Clottey ranked in the top 10 P4P? Nobody. Plenty of respectable boxing authorities recognize Paul as a P4P fighter. Clottey is ducking Paul and is scared of losing. You can't force people to fight you. What do you want Paul to do, show up on their doorstep and call them out? Get real. People just don't want to fight a guy that poses the problems that Paul does.
