yeah, but cotto has had the best camp ever... pac has all kinds of distractions and he's smaller than cotto... cotto should be the favorite. pac is too small. that's not excuse, that's fact.

cotto imho should win this. it's his fight to lose.

And Pacman should hav no excuses for fighting a former 106 lber either. The fact is that none of the them are currently at 106 lbs even thought both were. This excuse is worn out Buddy!!

It's curious how you take Cotto's camp words for granted about the best camp ever (which i don't doubt or dispute) but you don't take for granted Roach's and Pacman's words when they say that Pacman has his best condition and is stronger than ever.

True that Cotto is stronger, but here are some more facts. Pacman is faster, has better stamina, more movements and a better corner. Those are no excuses, those are facts, Playing field is leveled and let the best man win!!!

I'm pulling for Cotto also but you make this sound like it should be a peice of cake and it's not.

I never said it was gonna be a piece of cake. cotto is gonna have to take 3-4 punches to land 1, but that 1 is gonna crack pac's ribs.

cotto is too big. if he lets pac get away with this one it's shameful!!!!!

                GOD-FR33 saYs...

I'M PUMPed!! NO EXCUSES. COTTO WILL SEND MANNY BACK DOWN TO 140LBS. NO DOUBT. IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT WINNING THIS FIGHT, COTTO SHOULD STOP HIM. THE SAME WAY I FELT MAYWEATHER SHOULD HAVE STOPPED MARQUEZ. HE HAD NO BUSINESS SURVIVING! MAYWEATHER BETTER BE GLAD MARQUEZ IS LITTLE BECAUSE ONE OF THOSE RIGHT HANDS HE GOT CAUGHT WITH WOULD HAVE DONE DAMAGE BY A TRUE WELTERWEIGHT I THINK. HIS DEFENSE ISN'T THAT BIG A DEAL AGAINST ANOTHER PRIMED FIGHTER. EVEN HATTON GAVE HIM ALL HE COULD HANDLE UNTIL HE GOT TIRED. I THINK COTTO STOPS MANNY AND FORCES A SHOWDOWN WITH MAYWEATHER. AND I ALSO THINK THAT COTTO DEF. CAN BEAT HIM. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

So should it be a shame if Pacman lets Cotto has his way and doesn't use his speed to avoid getting hit???
                  Off course not.
There should be no shame for any of the boxers if they lose, because that's what's boxing is all about.
2 boxers trying to impose their advantages to obtain a victory.
In Cotto's case, his power and "size" (weight) and in Pacman's case, his speed, movement, stamina and a better strategy (because of a better corner).
Once again the playing field is leveled and their should be no shame from non of the fighters if they lose.

                      Tale of the Tape:

Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto both have 13 inch biceps!!

Miguel Cotto has 22.5 inch thighs while Manny Pacquiao only has 20 inch thighs BUT check this out PULLCOUNTER . . . Manny has 15 inch calves compared to the 12 inch calves of Miguel Cotto.

PULLCOUNTER did you SEE the Yankee Stadium Press Conference last month (9/10/09) if not then check it out on youtube. They were basically the same size during the face-to-face photo op (5'7 vs. 5'6.5) Even their chests are exactly the same size when expanded, 41 inches. So what if Manny has the bigger wrist and Miguel has the bigger fist, it is only an inch. I was surprised to see that they have the same sized neck at 16 inches. Whoever thinks that Miguel Cotto is some goliath of a welterweight needs to visit the HBO page, he is no Felix Trinidad Jr. If he tries to impose his size on Manny he is going to lose. Don't take my word for it look what happened to Ricky Hatton who walks around at over 175 lbs. Miguel should box first then fight and slug later in spots. Whoever fights the smart fight is going to win because Miguel is not that slow and Manny is not that small.
