An even bigger robbery happened a few weeks ago when Froch defeated Dirrell by "going forward" alone and taking punches in his face in the process. WTF is wrong with boxing?!
People see fights different ways, but I think people are making too much of a big deal about the Froch-Dirrell fight. I was fine with that decision because Dirrell did everything but fight like taking knees, complaining to the ref, running and clinching. I'm not even really a fan of Froch either. But fuck that fight.

It seems like this fight between Johnson and Dawson isn't getting the attention it should either. The fact that Hopkins may fight Dawson in the future if he wins should peak some people's interests. But I'm still rooting for Glen to prevail though.

Glen's arguement is an emotional one. I'll feely admit that I was one of those who thought Johnson won, but it was an emotional respose simply because a.) I wanted Johnson to win
b.) Glen had a good few last rounds
After watching the replay, and scoring the fight without a fan's mentality it was obvious that Chad won more rounds. Maybe in the days of 15 rounders Glen would have gotten that decision, but under today's scoring regulations, Chad won. He WON more rounds.

It won't be close this time Chad is going to win a wide UD, its too bad Glen has slipped so considerably but that is how it goes with older fighters.....he is very fortunate that there are few options for Chad at this time @ 175 or this rematch would not be happening.

This fight does nothing for Dawson. Step it up man you have the potential.

              Robbery?

I think chad pulled out a close fight. He was the champion. U have 2 beat the champ clearly or u won't get the decision. Glen needs to stop making excuses and give credit where credit is due. What's he going 2 say if he loses this time? Will he give chad his respect like a true sport? I like glen and agree with most of his views on boxing in general, but he lost that 1st fight.

Another thing people need to take into consideration is the fact that Johnson got screwed of not only that decision, but future money as well. It should've been him getting the big payday with Tarver, and not Chad. And regardless of what happens in this fight, that is not gonna change that. Chad could've fought someone else other than Glen on both occasions, and I give him his props for that. But people who say that Dawson doesn't owe Johnson are not seeing reality. Dawson has no other guy to fight besides Cloud who HBO wouldn't approve as an opponent for Chad. So to sum it up, both Johnson and Dawson need each other.

Johnson won based on two criterias. Effective punching and controlling the ring. Also I scored the 10th round 10-8 because Chad got punked in that round.

Johnson is a cry baby. If he wanted the win, he should have finished Chad when he had him rocked two times. Chad won the first fight, and he'll win the second one.

Dawson-Johnson was not a robbery, it was a very close fight I personally had even. It could have gone either way, but since it went to Dawson and Glen Johnson has been on the bad side of some bad decisions, people say he was robbed. People need to understand what a robbery is, a robbery is not the fighter you had winning a close fight not getting the nod. Whitaker-JCC was a robbery.

My feelings exactly. Glen has slipped too much. I had Glen winning the first fight, but I think he will lose a wide UD this time out.
