I thought Johnson whipped Dawson's ass and should've gotten the decision. But at least the moment of truth is going to come out in the second fight, and hopefully we can put to rest the debate of who is the better fighter. I also heard the judges are appointed by the WBC. Glen has to KO Chad to win.
If the fight was a robbery than why did Al Bernstein had Dawson ahead by two points at the end of the fight? I think a draw would of been more accurate, but the fight was really close. The fight wasn't a clear cut robbery. Dawson was scoring with good body shots and Johnson was blocking a lot of Dawson's jab. Also some of the punches that Johnson landed were not hard bruising shots, I think the commentators exaggerated the punches that Johnson landed.

The problem is that boxing is so dirty we are sort of used to these events. An even bigger robbery happened a few weeks ago when Froch defeated Dirrell by "going forward" alone and taking punches in his face in the process. WTF is wrong with boxing?!
I thought Chad won the first fight. He outlanded Glenn by like 100 punches or more. I kind of agree with Shaw, it was a close fight and someone had to lose. Just because the punches dont rock someone doesn't mean they didn't land. Glenn has an iron beard but Chad was peppering Glenn at points. Glenn landed the harder punches but he had a hard time getting to Chad. It was an exciting fight and I am looking forward to the rematch. Hopefully Glenn picks up his punch output so he can get the "W".
