eh? americans never gave benn the respect he deserved, as you said it he is not in the hof which is american even though he deserves to. infact you and all other americans hated benn like you hated all british/european fighters and never gave him the respect he deservd.

If I were permitted to write in his name (and Eubank's name, for that matter) on the ballot, I'd do so. The IBHOF doesn't allow for write-ins, though.

So, as a protest, I always start with 10, then subtract from the number of guys I believe SHOULD be on the ballot but aren't and then set a max # of fighters for whom I'll vote. I'd vote for Benn and Eubank over most of the guys on the ballot today.

All that said, not sure why you keep saying "you" as in your lumping me in with the rest of the US media. I've already made it quite clear that Nigel's one of my all-time favorites and pledged his bid to be on the HOF ballot. Not sure how that qualifies me as someone who has never given Nigel his just due.

I've posted a video with Benn saying he wanted to fight Jones, I've posted an interview with Jones and Jones says Don King stopped the fight from happening. Not one of you doubters have posted any evidence that Benn was offered a fight and he turned it down. Post some evidence or shut the **** up.

Benn was offered $10million to face Jones from Jones's people. But he was still under contract to Don King (the contract ran out on the Malinga fight in Newcastle, England).

King was prepared to put up $50million. But Jones thought King would use McClellan's tragic state to bill Benn-Jones as a 'revenge mission' and so refused to fight if King was involved.

Benn of course lost that Malinga fight, but rumour was that he was going to accept the offer from Jones's people.
