In terms of punching power? I would agree that Benn had better movement and was more active, but AA definitely has at least comparable pop in his hands. I personally believe that AA punches even harder, but I know that a lot of people will disagree on this.

AA does have power. Many boxers have power and even normal people can show more power than a boxer.

I saw a clip on a football programme where a normal guy hit a punching machine ahrder than Froch.

There are many people who can do certain things better than a boxer like running or swimming.

The difference is, a boxer needs it all and the skills to be able to punch and take a shot. He needs to deal with rpessure of the fight, but also the training. He has an opponent that wants to hurt him.

AA has power but he is not ferocious. If you want anyone to be in a bar fight with you, then Nigel Benn is one of them. He isn't a huge guy but the man would brawl, take hits and try to take you out with almost every shot.

One person I met from work said he saw Benn in Ministry of sound (a Club) years and years ago and his friend was shadow boxing with him. He said Benn looked super fast and they were all amazed at his speed which you don't see on old video tapes. No bar fight but a lil story lol

I can only imagine how fast the very best boxers are in the world considering benn wasn't super fast at all.

Yeah it's still around. I think more mainstream music now though.

I hate techno etc... but my family love it and they love to get high too. lol.

How is boxing in germany? Seems like it's better than the UK because the UK seems to be going down really.

Only the Klitschkos, Sturm and Abraham are stars. Can't say much about the popularity of boxing here in Germany. It's definitely not as popular as football (soccer). Anyways, all broadcasted fights get very good viewership numbers. What's really likeable about Germany is that all big fights are still on public TV (for free) and not on PPV.

When Benn was a junior-welterweight in the army he was supposed to be frighteningly fast, as in 'Woow'. But apparently lost his speed using weights when he came out of army to get to middleweight, not that he wasn't still fast...
