I guess if I was going to bet or put a prediction for an upcoming fight, then I'd re-watch old fights and analyze.

But so far I do that while watching the actual fight live.

I didn't watch Froch-Taylor live, but I managed to dodge the whole result all day. Plus the way that ended - it was amazing.

It was a moderately surprising ending, but maybe I should watch that one again to pin point the second the tide started to turn.....small things like that I and many other on this site find interesting.

I was just thinking about that..

I guess I'd be able to re-watch fights if I felt some connection to one of the fighters. For example, if they were one of my favourite fighters.

Can see your point nothing captures the buzz of watching a fight live.
I do find though that sometimes I appreciate a fight better watching it again when not as caught up with the emotion particularily if you are favouring a particular fighter.
I will always cheer on a Brit and watching a fight live will notice what they are doing wrong rather than appreciate what the other guy is doing right if you know what I mean?

I hate watching old fights where I know who won and how they win and in what round.

Kind of removes that element of surprise and I find myself looking at the timer waiting for it to happen.
I can watch old school fights or fights I've already seen. For some reason if I download a recent fight that I know the results for I tend to skip through it.

It's hard but I try to stay away from all boxing related news if I miss a fight that I plan on viewing at a later time.
