if you see the stats between their fights Mosley landed almost the same amount of punches that Margarito landed on Cotto.
Cotto was never hurt in Mosley's fight.

Margarito is slow.
Margarito isn't build heavy, because he's tall.
His technique isn't even average.

He doesn't have one ingredients for being a good puncher and yet Miguel swells up like a monster, after only a few punches landed.
Normally Miguel doesn't swell that bad.
Look at his fights. How often did Mosley land his right hand? He landed power punches at over 50% connect rate for 12 rounds. Margarito probably at 15% for lesser rounds.
Mosley is a bigger puncher than Margarito WITH bricks.
And yet, look what happened.
Margarito caused some really bad cuts and swellings in his career.

Iq of 70 needed to realize Margarito used bricks for the Cotto fight.

The people that protect Margarito don't know what an IQ is. As for forming a logical opinion based on facts....forget it, most would be lost when you mention percentage.

Refereee Jay Nady was there as well. So not only did the NSAC provide the gauze, but they had one of their top inpectors, the referee, and Cotto's trainer there watching Margo getting his hands wrapped.

Surely then if commisioners saw Margarito getting his hands wrapped in the Mosley/Cotto fights then they'll have witnessed other fights too?

And if there were any problems they would have been highlighted years ago....

I wish the boxing press stops treating the public as dumbed down idiots. The discerning among us will KNOW that fighters are checked before EVERY fight...the event is even televised sometimes!!!

marg-mosley was california.

marg-cotto was nevada.
