Evangilista saw Margarito get his hands wrapped

NSAC Executive Director Keith Kizer had this to say about the Marg vs. Cotto fight;

"The inspector is there watching the hands get wrapped, and there is also a member of the other team..Evangelista Cotto was there. And he is not a guy who is very passive. He is a guy who will say, 'What's that?'

"Evangelista is a very hands-on checker. He was there watching it. We had one of our top inspectors, Jack Lazzarotto, one of our most experienced inspectors, back there."

Refereee Jay Nady was there as well. So not only did the NSAC provide the gauze, but they had one of their top inpectors, the referee, and Cotto's trainer there watching Margo getting his hands wrapped.

Surely then if commisioners saw Margarito getting his hands wrapped in the Mosley/Cotto fights then they'll have witnessed other fights too?

And if there were any problems they would have been highlighted years ago....

I wish the boxing press stops treating the public as dumbed down idiots. The discerning among us will KNOW that fighters are checked before EVERY fight...the event is even televised sometimes!!!

STFU *****, not always, the handlers go there, or they get there late, like Naz in the Margo-Mosley fight. The **** was signed and sealed before he even got there. I guess they made up that too.

This discussion will only end in childish name calling no legitimate boxing talk.....we will never know for sure whether Marg used loaded wraps in the Cotto fight.....all we have is hearsay and speculation. The very best indicator of whether he did or not would come from a rematch and how that plays out, because he is black listed from now on and will have to go through a **** load of security checks before he makes it to the ring for the rest of his career. Rightfully so too....believe that if the rematch happens that fight will go down 100% legit.
