Pac gotta go in n out, and just look for points early, not damage. He tries plantin his feet he gets bombed outta there. And **** switch hittin. That's suicide.

Thats not a good idea at all. Pac should juts be concetrating in boxing, anything about standing and trading and trying to fight like he normlly does, will get him KTFO quicker!
Morales almost got ktfo for turning left-handed in the final round against pacman... What a dumb ass move by Morales. I don't believe he tried to ever do that again in the rematches.

And you know, Roach keeps saying that Cotto's best punch is the left hook, well it is to the body but up top Cotto's best punch is the straight right hand more so than the left hook IMO.
I totally agree with this, but according to NSB boxing experts Cotto doesnt have a right hand at all!!!

But that turning orthodox is interesting, is there any record of Manny switchhitting?

It was something that was shown in training leading up to the Hatton fight, he was working on throwing combinations and stuff out of the orthodox stance but obviously he never had to use it. I just thought that since Cotto is quite open to straight right hands, Roach would have Pacquiao switch stances once in a while to land it since they were already working on it, it would catch Cotto off guard because I don't think he would be expecting it and Roach likes to do this kind of stuff to throw Pacquiao's opponents off.

If he did that(which I doubt) then Cotto will turn southpaw, or did you forget he's naturally left handed and has turned southpaw with succes in other fights?

I totally agree mang, anything involving stoping to plant his feet, means he will get starched.

I'd be surprised if Cotto came out counterpunching. Not saying he can't do it, but in this fight he should play to his strengths.

I don't mean I think Pacquiao will switch for a long period of time, I mean it in the way that I think Pacquiao will just switch for a few seconds, try to land something out of the orthodox stance, then switch back, I doubt Cotto will have time to switch to southpaw while all this is going on.

Now I remember you seeing this before. Thanks. You could be right that this could throw off Cotto. We'll see fight night then.
