I wouldn't call Shane afraid .... Williams is too high risk, low reward. Shane's looking to cash out and has failed on that front as his next opponent will be Berto, who's not as high risk as P-Will

Pavlik has pulled out several times, but if you haven't heard almost died from some sort of issues with his medication.

so I won't fault Williams too much, as based on the above not really his fault

and you can only beat what's in front of you.

with that said, hopefully for his sake P-Will can at least fight for an Alphabet title by the end of this year.

Yeah. on the record books, 1-1. In the mind of the public, he avenged his loss in emphatic fashion.

My man, trilogies are not always necessary. I just knocked you out in one round. I'm moving on.

The only thing Pavlik is TKO'ing is this:

Not quite a modern day Armstrong...win some titles first, in each division. He is good, but reminds me too much of Chad Dawson. Good, I just don't see him ever being great. Workmanlike, yes..great,no.

first of all why would you expect Mayweather to fight Williams when he won't fight Cotto or Mosley?

secondly Pavlik at the moment is unhealthy to fight period.

it's a bummer that Williams hasn't gotten the big fight yet (of course that was supposed to be vs Pavlik in December)

but at this point I wouldn't even mind Sergio Martinez as at least Paul can pick up an Alphabet belt.

Everyone is ducking Williams? Sergiy had contract issues with Universum, Clottey wants more money I assume, Martinez wants a weight agreement and has been calling for the fight.

Pavlik may have been ducking him or he is an alcoholic

                  A 1st round K.O doesn't warrant a rubber match.

Cool. i can respect that opinion.

I think that he needs top opposition and challenges to bring the best out of him. So, we will see if his greatness (or absence of) pans out.
