That is something we don't know about yet and can only speculate. I don't think he would because his whole basis of his opinion of himself seems to be based around the idea that because there is no blue print to beat him he must be the best until such a blue print is proven to exist. Confidence is key to being a great fighter not so much skill/ability....look at Froch and Taylor if you don't believe that and tell me who succeeds and why......so the question would be if Floyd would still have the belief in himself to be great after a loss or would he just go away much like Nas did after his loss to MAB? Personality wise he does remind me of Nas so I am inclined to think he would respond in a similar way, but who knows its all just a speculation.

Agreed. Mayweather's personality reminds me somewhat of Nas in certain aspects. If he got defeated it might destroy his passion for the sport. The noticeable difference is that Nas was on the steady decline towards the end of his career. Each of his last few fights he appeared more and more vulnerable and less defensively effective. It was known that he slacked off in training quite severely, believing that his tremendous power alone would carry him to victory. Mayweather is different in that he always stays in superb condition, even during his "retirement". If someone KO'd Mayweather with a lucky punch he might be more than willing to rematch. On the other hand, if he was outpointed he might have a different reaction. True.. it's all speculation at this point..

If Mayweather Ate 83 Hot Dogs for Breakfast Like Toney Would He Still Be Thin?
It's an interesting question, no doubt.

You seem to be forgetting that Mayweather is only human and that anything can happen in the boxing ring..

James Toney had about 35 give me wins or so. If you take those away he is almost at the level of Mayweather record wise.

                  He lost to Castillo.

He would beat all the names out there at the moment. Who else would he fight? 30 bums?

If he continues to fight into his 40's than no, i dont think he will remain undefeated.

People like Marciano and Calzaghe quit while they were ahead. Floyds relexes would slow, he would have to exchange punches more, and he doesnt punch that hard.

Chavez had an early loss reversed, and lost to Whitaker, also got a few dubious decisions along the way.

I'm not sure Floyd beats everyone out there right now. I couldn't say that he'd definitely beat Mosley, Cotto, Williams or Clottey. That's why the fights would be great to watch, they'd be very tough opponents for Mayweather.

True, the age factor could work against Floyd's style. If he lost a percentage of his reflexes his chin would get tested much more than it currently is. If he fought on average 3 times a year he'd have to fight into his 40's to accumulate 43 more fights. Another thing are the hands. I'm not sure they'd survive that many fights.
