If Mayweather Had 83 Fights Like Toney Would He Still Be Undefeated?

If Floyd Mayweather Jnr continued to fight a further 43 times, taking his fight total to 83 fights like James Toney do you think he'd still be undefeated? One condition is that he must face at least a further 5 undefeated contenders or highly respected equivalents like Mosley, Cotto, Clottey, Williams and Berto. Also would Mayweather's prior hand trouble have any impact on his performances if he fought a further 43 times?

Lets take a look at the records:

    Floyd Mayweather Jnr

    won 40 (KO 25) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 40 Total Fights

    Fought 2 Undefeated Opponents

    James Toney

    won 72 (KO 44) + lost 6 (KO 0) + drawn 3 + no contest 2 = 83 Total Fights

    Fought 9 Undefeated Opponents

It depends on the quality of opponents.

if floyd had fought the very best from 130-154 without ducking anyone, he might have loss a fight or two. i mean i had him losing the first castillo fight so it's not impossible.

Yeah, he may possibly have lost a few if he had 83 fights like Toney but his record would still be outstanding I bet....even against good opposition, something like 79-4.

I honestly don't think Mayweather is gonna retire undefeated as it is, so ofcourse.

Say Mosley, Cotto, Clottey, Williams and Berto would be in the mix.

Floyd would be as old as Bernard after 83 fights!
