What if Vitali decided not to finished him off within 2 to 3 rounds and instead he decided to prolonged the punishment, lets say every round Oleg will be KO 1 or 2 times every round until 10th Vitali finishes him off.

Probably round one, maybe round two.

              Maskaev is old and shot.

Maskaev never "beat" Vitali in the amateurs, Vitali retired after a round because of a kickboxing injury acting up. A healthy Vitali would have easily defeated Maskaev at any time in their amateur or professional boxing careers.

He's full of ****. I saw a video of the fight a few years ago, it's probably still around somewhere on the internet. Vitali was getting the better of it, but retired between the first and second round on the advice of his trainer because an injury was acting up.

am i missing something here? if he retired in his corner that means he QUIT! that also means he LOST! i dont care what his excuse was...he still lost via quitting in his corner.you said it yourself that he retired which means he QUIT.if you quit you lost.so when he bitched out vs byrd is that not a loss? that political figure who punched him knew vitali didnt stand a chance & figured he'd quit too if he punched him again.i got an autographed pair of vitali's boxing gloves & him.i bet some nuthugger would pay a pretty price to get them out of my hands.i outbid 800 people fpr them...maybe i can turn them into a vitali klitschko voodoo doll...lol! maybe i give them to a sick ukranian child who idolizes vitali.they would look better on his shelf than mine.
