Regarding the burrito...had to post my favorite breakfast here in the Bay....steak and eggs breakfast from Stacks....I'll keep everyone posted on some great food from time to time.... (after the "wet" super chicharonnes burrito)
He looked strong in the Clottey fight physically, so that 1 pound won't mean losing that much muscle. He should be fine. Back to the burrito, I'm originally from the Bay so seeing your old avatar always made me miss home.

What part of the Bay? You should check out my fam's website: www.weating.com

Think Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.....but low budget and real everyday food from all over the Bay....quick, cheap and satisfying.....

Back to the topic at hand....

Cotto "looked" strong in the Clottey fight....but I'm sure that cut had alot to do with him fighting more cautious...

Yeah, that was a nasty cut, plus Clottey is a beast. Thats why I think he will be fine with the weight, no excuses.
I'll check out that site get me some new places to stop by when I head back over there. I'm from Santa Rosa, same place as that Diner, Drive-in and Dives host.

Cotto has put in an extra 4 weeks of training for this fight correct? Anyone know what weight he is at now? For Cotto to keep his "size/ strength" advantage...he SHOULD be around the 152lbs-158lbs range. That way...when Cotto cuts the weight...he'll re-hydrate back up to around 160lbs. If Cotto comes into the ring come fight night at anything LESS than 158lbs......his "size/strength" advantage will have disappeared.

My loyalty is not to any one fighter in this match....but if Cotto doesn't keep his "advantages"....he'll be in for a long night. My prediction....Pacquiao via late round stoppage (10th round). Anyone want to take me for my points....msg. me

I agree 100%, but I have confidence in Phil Landman. He's an excellent strength/conditioning coach and he and Cotto have a good relationship. Landman knows Cotto's problems and strengths and will work with that.

Also, Cotto was at 140 just a few years ago, he will not be dropping all the way down to that. Only to 145, which is just 1 pound under what he was for Clottey.

However, he has been training for a long time now and that could be detrimental, but I think the first few weeks were only very very light work.

I wonder if instead of having more stamina he might get tired faster. After all he's been training for a longer period of time than he's use too. I think the extra training plus coming in leaner can be a problem, but only Cotto will know until fight time. same happen to De La Hoya he didn't really know until he stepped in the ring to perform and he just didn't have it. He fought way better against Mayweather, but against Pac he just looked weak.

His mistake was not fighting at a comfortable weight.

DLH couldnt make 147 anymore. He ended up losing muscle in trying to get down weight. It wasnt the training it was the dieuretics he used to drink to help keep off weight too. Prolonged use made him lighter than pacquiao in the ring

                    Hahahahahahahahahaha!

I find it funny that whenever someone gets into training mode to fight against Pac (Diaz/DLH/Hatton) they were all "training like never before"...for who???? A former Flyweight?????

That's one thing I couldn't fathom regarding DLHs training camp.....the weight limit was 147lbs....why in the hell did he weigh in at 142lbs?
