That was part of the gameplan with DLH too.....lose weight to be fast...that didin't turn outto well. Cotto's strengths' do not include him being "fast". Stay big, stay strong, hopefully that chin of his will hold up....but if it doesn't and he gets cut...especially if he gets cut early....look for Manny to bust it wide open.

haven't seen any vids on Cotto training (none on Pac either....don't want to buy into ANY training video hype) so if he looks to be about that....then this will be a WAR....lol @ "doing a Mayweather Weigh-In".....

cotto cant afford to do a mayweather... roach said that in the contract, for every pound that cotto goes over the 145 limit, he will be charged 1 million... if he ways anywhere more than 147, then roach said that the fight would be cancelled... cotto cant afford to not make weight and i dont think hell have a problem making it...

Cotto making the weight isn't an issue....its HOW HE WILL MAKE THE WEIGHT....will he try to match speed with Pac, = DLH status.....or keep his strength advantage (fight night = 158lbs+). If Cotto weighs anything less than 158lbs...Pac is taking him down in 10 rounds.

I don't think making weight will effect him. He was 146 vs Clottey, one pound won't matter. He's trained longer than usual to build up his stamina I think. He's going to need to keep up with Manny's pace if he can't slow him down. By the way what happened to the burrito plate in your avatar TS? I miss good mexican food.

To be honest I wouldn't mind seeing Cotto pay 1million and come in at 146lbs. He was becoming a bit of a plodder towards the end at 140lbs due to stamina. I wouldn't want to see that again.

Would that not = losing more weight (muscle)?

Regarding the burrito...had to post my favorite breakfast here in the Bay....steak and eggs breakfast from Stacks....I'll keep everyone posted on some great food from time to time.... (after the "wet" super chicharonnes burrito)

Since we're being so honest....I would much rather see Cotto pay the $2 mili so that he could come in at full strength....
