Had LaMotta been bigger, he would beat Robinson more than once. But Robinson had the height advantage. We saw what happened when he fought the taller Joey Maxim. And don't tell me that he quit just because of exhaustion and humidity!

LaMotta was stronger and punched harder than Robinson. It's a fact. Robinson unloaded everything on him when he had him against the ropes and LaMotta stayed on his feet. If the roles had been reversed, Robinson would be in a coma.

But he won the first, third, fouth, fifth, and sixth, not to mention he was a welterweight fighting a middleweight.

LaMotta would often outweight Robinson by more than 15 pounds, what are you talking about.

I am talking about height and reach. And LaMotta had small hands, as everybody who has seen "The Raging Bull" knows.

Height and reach dont win fights. Their just things to overcome like anything else, Robinson had to overcome LaMotta being stronger and weighing more, skills and ring smarts win fights, if you can adjust, that other stuff wont win a fight against you. Its not like a fighter with shorter arms and height has never beaten a taller guy with longer reach, so not sure why you brought that up.

A lot has to do with his level of opposition. He was never afraid about fighting guys and didn't worry about his record like people do these days

look, if you haven't watched SRR fight, then you can't say **** about him.

even if you have vid on him, u need to have the knowledge of a boxing historian to say any substantive on the matter.

LOL. Why the hell would they need to mention it? Ray beat LaMotta a further 5 times. Talk about avenging a loss.

                    Are you nuts?

Do you know anything about that fight or just the ignorance you displayed here?

Watch his early fights, even then he was past it by most accounts and made the best look like nobodies. Ali who would claim that he was the greatest would say SRR was the greatest when asked.
