If you have just watched his video against mosley, he countered mosley's combinations pretty well (note: Mosley has a handspeed which is on top in the welterweight division). I tell you, Cotto has great timing. Pacs chance of knocking out cotto will be his stamina. Cotto's defense and counterpunching weakens as he gets tired during the latter rounds. That way, pac is going expose him and land heavy combinations in all angles.. PAC ko Cotto 9th or 10th round
Cotto is not going to get knocked out by Pacquiao. The reason why
I having been so adament about picking Pac against everyone he has
fought lately is because he is sometimes wild and with the right pressure
and punch he could easily get hit flush and out boxed. Manny is not a
technical guy like Floyd or even JMM for that matter. Pac is a speedy
brawler and rarely displays any defense but prefers to overwhelm his
opponents with speed and punches. Cotto to his credit has been hit
by every punch there is and he has weathered them well with exception
to his fights at 140 BUT at 147, he has displayed a decent chin and shows
strength and heart. The only way I see Manny KO'n Cotto is if he gets
careless like he did in the early part of the Judah fight BUT even then
Cotto turned up the heat and pressure Judah and he didn't look tired
at all during that fight. Honestly, I think the Pac hype is way outta
control. Manny hasn't fought a competitive fight since JMM, we still
have to see what he does with Cotto, who will be in their to fight and
win. Just like how Floyd was too big and skilled for JMM, this fight
could turn out the same way in favor of Cotto but not counting
Manny out but I think Cotto should have enough to take out Pac.

Is that what you're waiting??? poor boy but you can never see that because it won't gonna happened! Rather, you can see the opposite! One thing you should inculcate to your coconut, Pac is not a cry baby much more not a quitter! But come nov. 14 and you will the opposite, put that also in your mind if you have that one.

Pacquiao has showed he's still very fast a 145. Pacquiao was to fast for lightweights and Cotto has never fought a guy with that kind of speed. Zap was fast, but he stops moving and he aint fighting 12 rounds like manny can. with Cotto Pac won't have to reach up like he had to do with De La Hoya. Pacs punches are going to be much stronger like they were against Hatton.

Manny may have out boxed Oscar and totally humiliated him but that
doesn't take away from the fact that Oscar was weight drained. Of
Course he's going to say he is in the best shape of his life and fight
unhealthy because he is greedy De La Hoya. How can a lil ass guy
like Manny out weight him on fight night? Come on man!

Granted that oscar is weight drained as you say, weight drained fighters will still be good in the first 4rounds of a 12rounds match. And if you will watch again the fight, oscar was clearly trying to put some leather on manny during the early rounds, you could see that he still has some decent speed and pop in those punches, the only trouble is oscar is not connecting, if he did catch manny with those, manny would have been KO'd. And manny was outpointing oscar in those early rounds. So my analysis was, even with a healthy oscar the outcome would be the same only it would have lasted longer..

I wonder why nobody has brought up the question of maybe Pacman overtraining a little and peaking too soon.
