MMA is no where near the level of Boxing and what Torres just said has proven my arguement. MMA is entertaining for the short attention span people....and it's okay from time to time...it gets you through when there's no boxing on. But it definitely is not Boxing and never will be. I will no longer wear Marc Ecko clothes because of this....Comment

IDK what Torres is talking about, when you are wrestling or grappling you get really tire and exhausted because you have another person's weight on top of you and he is just not laying there he is still striking and trying to submit you, so is not a smart way to kill time, because you don't get to rest, there is no way to get a rest in MMA.
I love both boxing and MMA, but anybody can go to a gym and train to be a boxer, but no everybody can just train to be a MMA fighter, if you think is just wild punching and hugging, then you really know nothing about Martial Arts.Comment

yeah torres is just one of the fighters who do that in his fight, but there are fighters like miller who really goes there and fights, and to tell you the truth MMA is much more demanding that boxing, anybody can punch, but no anybody can kick [not an average kick], knee and elbow, and grapple.

Ummm yeah I bet I know more about MMA then you. Not to mention I wrestled...I know how tired you get...I train at a Boxing gym...and I know how tired you get there. Not everyone can train to be in MMA??? (Kimbo Slice, Tim Sylvia, Tank Abbott,...any other out of shape unathletic people...yeah plenty more!) Kimbo started his MMA career at 32...Brock Lesnar became UFC champ after 3 fights!!!....Lol....none of this non-sense would fly in Boxing!
Only fools think boxing is just "throwing punches" there is a lot more to it than that. It's like saying anyone can fence if they can wip a sword fast. Going to an MMA gym and learning how to throw basic punches isn't "boxing"Comment
