    Haye is mixed race, Macca was Welsh. If England didn't like people because they were "coloured" and talked then there's no way in hell Haye would of gotten the amount of support he got against a White boxer. People loved Eubank before he fought Benn actually but there's also this don't you see the link between Eubank not being liked for talking too much then being liked after he beat Benn? Who did Eubank actually beat prior to Benn to talk so much ****?

    Am not accusing everyone from the England, Am one of those people from England also, Am mainly stating the way some people think especially about boxer who are coloured in the UK and yes there were some people from england who wanted Macca to win nothing to do with Haye been mix-race.

    I have notice people have hostility to people of colour if they talk, If they dont talk like Bruno then they love them If they talk like Eubank or Naz then they hate them for been arrogant, Am not blind its a trend that i notice.

    An not in denial am speaking from what i see and know everyday.

        To be honest i think it's not only because of his colour but also because of his religion;

        Sad that some people judge someone on that; but yea is happens!

          well doh !! They can't have it that the most talented boxer of their country right now, is a Pakistani. In my opinion next to Naseem Hamed, Amir Khan is the most talented boxer Britain has ever produced. Lewis didn't really had exceptional talent he was just able to win a lot of fights.

            Let's ask the question directly..

            If Amir Khan was white, would he be idolized instead of booed by those same fans, much like Hatton and Calzaghe? Is Khan hated by some sections of the British public primarily because he is not white and specifically because his family are from Pakistan?

            I do think there is more hostility towards Khan because of his race, but i also think the reason for that is due to the strained relations between ******s and other races, particularly whites, since 911 attacks & the bombing in London etc.

            Hamed was adored by British fans and is still reveared today by Brits, where as Khan just came around at the wrong time, he got overhyped, he was a little ****y early in his career and i think all that culminated in how he is treated today, not to say its right and fair.

            The irony is, Khan seems like a genuinely nice guy, where as Hamed seems like a piece of ****, as a person.

            Khan has definitely gown up and is a lot more ground now then he was early in his career.

            It is racism but i think it coincided with strained relations with ******s due to the terror attacks, not that, that is Khan's fault, but there are a lot of idiots out there that will take it out on him regardless.
