According to the Sacramento Bee, former heavyweight champion Oleg Maskaev (36-6, 27KOs) will continue his bid for another title shot on December 11 when he takes a tuneup against 23-year-old Nagy Aguilera (14-2, 9 KOs) at the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento. Austin-Maskaev in a title eliminator.....this disqust me. Vlad already creamed Austin and Peter killed Maskaev, only to turn around himself and get killed by Vitali.

Every fight that Maskaev lost was by KO. He has about the worst chin in boxing. In fights that he's won, I've seen him badly rocked by average punches.

austin has been active the last year & dropped 25lbs.hes fighting at 228 now compared to 250.he has power & more speed than before.i dont see him beating vitali but don king promotes him so a title shot could be near.maskaev vs austin id be ok with.face it people there isnt many good young heavyweights. the undefeated europeans & russians havent beat anyone.they should be fight austin or maskaev.boytsov vs austin or maskaev but they duck tough competition.Comment
