Here we go with this **** again.

Only 2 losses against P4P #1's. Beat and sometimes dominated good, world level opponents.

He would still be trouble for most guys at 140 and possibly 147 now. He just isn't an elite fighter. But he was very good.

I think his comments where a little harsh, but one can harderly argue after the beating Pacquaio gave Hatton who was supposedly trained by the self proclaimed best trainer in the world: Floyd Sr.. Freddy made Floyd as well as Hatton look bad but not just bad; horribly bad! The fact that he told everyone that Pacquaio was going to knock Hatton out in 3 rounds and then Pacquaio KO'd him in two shows that Freddy was on point with what he was saying.

Yep, that i understand but people crying over what Roach said and posting the titles that Hatton won etc making me laugh, the guy just isnt good, I think he picked the right fights at the right time to get to the point of winning a title, He went for the big fights like the mayweather and pacquiao fight but even before those fight was signed i knew he would lose them both.

He had more hype than most average boxers before he lost just based on beating Tsyzu. If Hatton was 21,22 or 23 then i would cut him some slack but he isnt.

I love Pac but he will never officially be all they say he is until he fights a tru ww with no catch weights. Its not cool to say "hey I'll race you if you let a lil air outta your tires first" Thats what Pac is doing to these guys. Why fight Oscar at 47 then ask Cotto to lose 2 pounds of muscle to make 45? Lets just do it I say, no catch weight shyt

while harsh criticism, I don't feel Roach is too off base as going into the fight Freddie didn't expect much from Ricky (predicted a 3rd round knockout I believe) and Manny wiped out Hatton in two.

Look at it this way, instead of blaming the ref, Hatton's going with the over trained excuse, which so deep into his career (47th pro fight) shouldn't be happening

I mean lose because the other guy was better then you or the judges "screwed you" but over training? sad

going back to how easily Hatton got wiped out ... even David Diaz who I don't rate too highly lasted 7 more rounds the Ricky.

of course head to head Ricky's done more career wise then David and would no doubt beat him in a fight .. but he lasted much longer vs Pacquiao

I mean people forget he absolutely brutalised Paulie. You got what you saw with Hatton: A face first guy who came to fight and brutalise you. Against top opponents he came apart but noone's calling him the GOAT so what's the problem?
not forgetting the win over Paulie, IMO it is one of Hatton's best efforts however i really feel that fight was a perfectly selected opponent for Hatton as besides Malignaggi's movements nothing else to really trouble Ricky. It is a fight I feel Hatton wins easily at almost any stage in his career.

I know what you mean about Paulie being made for Hatton. However, Paulie still took Cotto to 115-112/116-111 all around and Hatton didn't even really let him in the fight. Granted Paulie's issues with McGirt were a problem but still - a good win for Hatton.
