Is AA starting to become a modern SMW version of Marciano?

I'm not sure I can think of any guys I'd really say are similar stylistically to Marciano.
A short guy who had that crouch to make himself even shorter and could put himself at weird angles, making himself a tougher target. As said before, it's not a style used much. His punching technique could be pretty unorthodox as well. While the Suzie Q KO of Walcott was picture perfect, he'd also throw some shots from weird angles, as well as chopping overhand rights.Comment

I can see some similarities between Arthur Abraham and Rocky Marciano.....the success in spite of a lack of athleticism attributed to a granite chin, iron will, and crushing power.....seemingly beatable on points yet no one has seemed to be able to outlast him and get it done though both at least up until now don't have the strongest resume......so what do you think? Am I reaching here or is it an apt comparison?
One thing for sure, like Marciano, Abraham will never receive the recognition he deserves from certain people in the media for being an elite fighter. They'll try to convince us he has a "lack of athleticism".
I'd say Marciano must have been VERY athletic considering virtually every opponent he ever defeated was taller and had a longer reach. Being stocky does not equate with a "lack of athleticism".Comment

Ok, then maybe the best term for them would be "not slick" or "not possessing great speed".....I really didn't think I would have to redefine this for the obviously astute members of the siteOne thing for sure, like Marciano, Abraham will never receive the recognition he deserves from certain people in the media for being an elite fighter.
