    cotto/pac fraud/hatton and ask for a 80/10 against cotto
    say cotto is too green

cotto/mosley fraud/JMM because the 1st fight was "close"
    ask a 80/10 against cotto

cotto/berto fraud/casamayor because he "was winning against JMM"
    ask a 90/10 against cotto

cotto retires as the undis WW champ and p4p#1 fraud fight mosley and get KTFO

    lol

I'm more interested in fights against Pac, Floyd, and Mosley.

If Cotto loses and can't get one of those fights...definitely fight Margarito.
Because of the controversy behind Margarito. I can see Margarito vs. Cotto doing alot more then Shane vs. Cotto. Cotto edged Shane, so I'd rather he face Margarito as oppose to Shane, more to gain/ prove. Overall you're right.

Point is if Cotto gets past Manny, and that is an if, his last options are Floyd and Shane. That makes Shane the #1 option by default because Floyd is living in his own little world. If by that time Margarito gets himself back into contention and Floyd still will not fight that winner, than Margarito gets a chance to silence the critics over whomever wins that fight.
agreed. mosley is the man right now at WW

I don't have anything against a Margarito rematch. Shane/Cotto has more significance. If Cotto beats Pac, he might hop Floyd to number 2 in the WW rankings....that means Mosley/Cotto would be for a lineal title.

People forget, the June date for Clottey was supposed to be for Margarito. It's not like Cotto is afraid of Tony, he was more than prepared to fight him, that rematch was going to happen.

Cotto just landed a mega fight...if he wins, his options are Floyd and Mosley. It's not being afraid and it's not ducking, it's the way the sport works.(not directed to you Dom)

The point is people, that Cotto feels deeply that he was cheated against. If he chooses to ignore Margarito by not giving him a big payday, that is his own choice. Even if he fought and beat Margarito at this stage, it will not "erase" that loss because people will just say Shane ruined Tony.

Margarito does not deserve to leapfrog others. He has to work his way back and then maybe Cotto will give him another crack.

I've mentioned this on a thread I just made. But I better not hear any Cotto fans talking about how Paul Williams needs to give Quintana a rubber match when Cotto isn't even willing to fight a guy who made him surrender.
