Dirrell doesn't need to split Abraham's guard because he's wide open to the body. Dirrell is a much more INTELLIGENT boxer than Taylor, he will throw the straight left (or right) to the body at a distance and there is nothing Abraham can do about it. The only way I see Abraham winning the fight is if he becomes the aggressor, because when he's passive that favors Dirrell.
I also want to add, if you watch the fight closely, Abraham is better at blocking his body then you think.. That could have had something to do with the lack of shots Taylor threw at the body, the fact that most were low blows, or more then likely both of those.

If Taylor couldn't outpoint AA (forget the KO) then I just cannot see Direll do it.
Dirrell is a very good combo puncher IMO. If he stick's in there and somehow avoids getting clocked by one (which I doubt), then he could win this fight.

This is a great style matchup for Dirrell and I suspect that if he does not get knocked out he will post a near shut out.
A couple things to think about going into this fight..
1) Dirrell has no choice but to fight with more urgency as he already has a Loss
2) Dirrell will have the crowd at his back this time around
And most importantly...
3) Abraham does not counterpunch, this means Dirrell can let his hands go 5 or 6 punches at a time and not worry about getting hit in between. That is a huge advantage for him style wise. Against Froch he was constantly afraid of being countered. If he lets his hands go in this one, even if he's hitting a lot of glove, it is gonna look good, nice and flashy and will probably be enough to win most rounds.

I disagree the notion that Direll (or anybody else for that matter) can just potshot their way to a decision. A lot of fine fighters has tried and they have all failed.
AA's power is very real. did you notice the expression on Taylors face when he got hit? There's no question that AA throws punches with bad intentions. Direll will feel that too and this is not Froch who delivers some backhands or open glove hits. No it's the Abrahammer that's falling and Direll's chin will get a 'gut-check'....
