all these mayweather fans can waffle on all day, there is no getting away from the fact that floyd picked the lightweight champion of the world when he is a welterweight. and even worse when mosley was there!

As kids on the playground would say He (pac) started it.

Oh nevermind, I don't expect a pathetic smurf to see logic
Imo hatton was a legitimate move , going up in weigh. De la hoya was just a big paycheck for both , if you dont see that then i cant help you. Now if the p4p "king" , comes back and he wants to regain his crown he should have not fight marquez , anyone who gave marquez a chance in that fight is a dumbass , I myself made 300 bucks in that fight , and I CANT STAND MAYWEATHER , i just knew he picked marquez for a reason , and we all knew he wasnt going to make it a fight , he outboxed him and thats what he does , but he is too scared to try it with the top dogs in his division. HE could have picked , cintron , quintana , I dont want to take any credit from marquez as a fighter , but common man. Nobody knew pacquiao was going to have success moving up in weight , it was a "challenge" for him , now he did awesome , but mayweather didnt move up , he just went and picked a tough fighter with no chances of beating him , talk about pathetic smurf homie , your prob kissing ur mayweather poster right now

I understand the choice of JMM.. it was a tune up fight after a two year layoff... and a great way to set up the Mayweather-Pac mega match. Which it has..and WILL.. Provided Pac wins against Cotto, that is.

THe last two fighters I haven't liked floyd fighting were Baldomir and Bruseles. Other than that, he's done fine

I cant argue with anybody about mayweathers skills , he is an amazing fighter , but the fact is he has not fought the best in his division, and he has no heart and he will duck all the top fighters , Now , I everybody was saying marquez is on a row , this and that , he will be hard for floyd to beat he is a good counter puncher , no your calling him a good tune up fight. Mayweather is going to duck everybody and he will prob retire , how long has it been since he fought , have we heard anything from him , NOPE , After Cotto fought Clottey , in a pretty close hard fought match , a week later he was in conversations about pac-cotto. Thats a fighter with guts , thats a fighter with heart , thats a fighter with balls and courage. mayweather has non of the above. sorry

Paragraphs.. Very fun to use. They make your thoughts more pleasant for people. And the sad thing is..some of you haters are far more obsessd with floyd than I could ever dream of.

Moving on.. Yes homie, I'm quite aware you can't stand mayweather. **** is implicitly clear. The fact remains that Pacquiao tarnished Mayweather's legacy by beating Mayweather's last two opponents better. Even though hatton was a shell of his former self by the time he fought Pac, but we'll leave that one alone.

So I understand the JMM move. First of all.. JMM gave Pac serious fits, so Mayweather came along and hit 3 birds, one stone: A little revenge on Pac for making his victories look less, A setup for a Pac-May megamatch, and a good money fight in its own right.

And who's to know that JMM couldn't carry his skills up in weight? Oh sure, you act like you know NOW, but Mayweather AND Pacquiao both went up in weight quite successfully throughout their careers. How were we to know JMM could not? I mean, JMM was up higher on the P4P list than Mayweather at the time.. And the P4P title is something Mayweather covets.

Also, the purse split coming directly out of retirement fighting Pacquiao, after Pacquiao just diminished you by defeating your two last opponents in a big way, would be far less. Now presently, having dominated and humiliated JMM.. Mayweather has more bargaining power for the Pac fight as well..

But you don't think about any of this do you?

It was on JMM to prove us wrong about it being a tune up. We gave him backhanded benefit of the doubt, but in the end it was on him. He failed, to put it bluntly. Not the first who has failed, who has faced mayweather.. And not the last.

Thats a fighter with guts , thats a fighter with heart , thats a fighter with balls and courage. mayweather has non of the above. sorry
If you have watched Floyd's entire catalog, like myself, you would know that Floyd has been in some battles, and emerged the victor. He has heart. He has fought with broken hands, and injured ribs. thats courage.

but, you haven't watched all his fights, have you? As I suspected.

he wasnt wrong when he said Floyd retired a welterweight champion, while coming back fighting a lightweight champion? why he would announce his fight a day before the Manny vs Ricky fight? why not wait one more day.

He was actually giving Manny respect there, for people that can read between the lines.

He was picking Pac to win against Hatton by proxy of his chosen opponent, JMM
