I'm saying that Margarito isn't man-enough to take a pay-cut because plaster or no plaster Margarito had to fight for that win over Cotto and took alot of punishment himself from Cotto.

You are the one whom is wrong, after it came out, Cotto has said he wants to beat the **** out of him, which made me respect him more, for the fact you want to clear any doubts, instead of pulling a Floyd (Mosley is on roids) Cotto was still willing to prove it was a fluke in the 1st fight.

Im sure pay cut or not, he will still make a decent amount with Cotto, so why not try to avenge his lost? Now all the commission members and
cotto's team will keep a close eye on Tony when he wraps his gloves.

Irrelevant, he tried to do it against Mosley, and he should be banned for life for that. It's a dangerous enough sport as it is, without people being allowed to get away with putting plaster in their gloves.

didn't margarito lose immediately after they took the plaster away from him?

the only person needing to prove something here is margarito. if he wants cotto, he better pray cotto loses to pacquiao. if that doesn't happen, his only shot at a rematch would be for him to rematch shane and beat him convincingly...

... and that'd be the end of margarito

Tony wins the rematch the exact same way.
no, he lost all his credit after loading up for mosley and getting caught

Cotto dictated how he wanted to fight in the Mosley fight. If anyone's head was getting rocked back just off of stiff jabs it was Mosley but no one really rocked anyone in that fight. Overall in total punches landed they were about even with Cotto being the more accurate of the two.

Maybe he barely got past Clottey cause he was fighting with a cut that had blood pouring into his eye for 8-9 rounds.

As far as Margarito goes I don't know what the fanboy love with him is after he got caught cheating. Why should Cotto give him another payday after he cheated?

People conviniently forget that Cotto was ready to rematch him until Margarito got caught cheating. Cotto took the Jennings fight as a tune-up and was going for the rematch next so how is he scared of Margarito?

All these boxing forums are filled with freaking trolls and sometimes makes having serious and educated boxing conversations impossible.
Good post, I agree. Iceta is an intelligent poster in general, but he's completely irrational when it comes to Cotto. I don't know why, but he's definitely a Cotto hater.
