Stewart should remember that Lee was battering Vera around the ring and dropped him and was ahead on all the cards at the time of the stoppage when he appeard to run out of gas...maybe the flu like symptoms had more effect on the fight than given credit for.
Also, an early loss is not the end of a career for a young fighter with talent, oftentimes it serves as a motivator and focusing tool.
