Why hasn't Allan Green's career taken off?

Because he lost to Miranda the gatekeeper.
Pavlik, Abraham, and Ward beat the gatekeeper so their career's took off on the right direction. Regardless of where Pavlik is at now, his career did indeed took off with that Miranda win.
Green lost to Miranda=Career does not take off.
It's called the hurt business for a reason. One loss means something whether anyone likes it or not. But then it also depends how you bounce back from that loss.Comment

No it doesn't. Thats just HBO bull****. It was never like that before HBO got into the business of promoting fighters.Because he lost to Miranda the gatekeeper.

I agree about the Bute/Andrade winner deserving the spot in the S6, but it was impressive for reasons i am not going to keep repeating.Comment

True. Which takes me back to Green not being very good nor very exciting.
Margarito lost to Williams in an exciting fight, HBO gave him another chance and he blasted out Golden Johnson.
Before the plaster got hard, lol..go figure.Comment

Some fighters get a loss and just never really bounce back from it(like Allan Green).
Margarito bounced back real good he even beat Miguel Cotto who looked unstoppable. He beat him fair and square *** that plaster ****.Comment

Nah man, cuz' you know Cotto never fades late in fights....
