The first one or the second one? The first one could have gone either way I would probably pick vargas to land a bomb. Te second one? Cotto would have beat that one.

Vargas from the first fight still had something left and could use his strong physical strength but skills wise he asn't much.

I still think Cotto beats both versions even at 154. Vargas was pretty slow at that point. You could see his right hand coming, and he wasn't as resiliant either.

Cotto isn't a Junior Middleweight..and isn't experienced up there yet..Vargas fought at Jr Middleweight for the most of his career..and has fought as high as Middleweight..

Cotto would be outgunned and outsized by ALOT!..

Vargas should come back against Cotto's carcass after Pac gets done with him. Cotto would have to move up though. And Cotto is like Margarito in not being able to compete at higher weights.
