    i don't see a problem with that.
The problem was that #1 at 140 had made an appearance at 147 before against a lower rung, top ten welter and barely escaped with a controversial decision...then fled back to 140. Chavez-Whitaker this wasn't.

Hatton was the man before Mayweather KO'ed him.

          You WERE discussing hatton, no?

Talkin bout fighters that gave him fits doesn't take away from the fact that he came away with the wins.

Every fighter is going to encounter a fighter that gives them fits...its how they handle it and move forward that counts.

Hatton was the man till Mayweather ended that.

            Hatton was the man where?

BTW...true about how you handle it. Hatton handled it like a man...by running back to 140.

AGAIN with the 7 lbs nonsense?

THats..like... 3 big meals and some drinks.

Hatton looked fit as ever at 147 against Mayweather.

I can't even take that seriously when people use a few lbs as an excuse..

how did he run back to 140?? Running constitutes an implied intent to stay going in the direction you flee in. He came BACK and fought floyd at 147..

He came back for a big money fight...other than that, when has he fought at welter? Didn't he go back to 140 after collecting his check?
