I'm not denying that floyd's career overall is better than cottos, but at WW cotto's resume is better than floyd's.


Floyd shouldn't / can't get credit for beating guys that he hasn't yet gotten in the ring yet. do I think floyd would win? yes. but he still doesn't get credit for beating harris, tszyu, freitas, casamayor, etc... until he actually steps in the ring with them, just liek floyd can't get credit for beating cotto/mosley/pac until he actually fights them.

floyd would have gotten more respect if he actually fought tszyu, cotto, hatton, harris at jr WW. I know there was a lot of problems along the way, but still... a victory on paper is not a victory in the ring.

Freitas? Tszyu was more interested in Hatton. Casamayor, THAT is a dude Mayweather should have faced. As for Mayweather facing Hatton at 147, had that taken place at 140, I'd still give him the same credit I give him now.
