Gatti: I'm going to shock the world!

    from *********.com

Regarding Mayweather's extraordinary speed Gatti said that "people slow down when they get punched." Gatti, one of the gutsiest boxers of modern times, also questioned Mayweather's courage. "I don't know if he has heart, but if he does I'm going to shrink it." Both Mayweather his uncle/trainer Roger and his father Floyd Sr. (Oscar De La Hoya's trainer) have all been known to trash-talk their opponents. In a way, trash-talking seems to run in the family. "It also runs in the family that they have glass jaws," retorted Gatti.

tht last sentence made me laff hard, gatti i think now has a big chance of beating mayweather. i was thinkin mayweather on a shutout, but now i think i might actually pick gatti. we've never seen mayweather in a war, if we c him in a war now, who will win

I think Mayweather is gonna box gatti's ass off but in a war i would have to favor gatti. I doubt it'll become a war though. I'd like to see Gatti knock him out but i don't really see it happen. From this fight we can gage how bad De La Hoya would beat on mayweather or vice versa, maybe.

      Mayweather by 12UD.

Gatti stands a chance for a KO/TKO if he closes the gap and turns it into a brawl. I could envision it against the ropes, Mayweather using his crab defense, and catching a straight right from Gatti. However, more than likely, "Pretty Boy" Floyd will dance around the ring, and using his speed, agility, and superb countering abilities and cat-like reflexes, will stand victorious after 12 entertaining rounds of boxing action.

Gatti dosent want anymore wars, he's getting up there in years, thats why he changed his boxing style, he dosent want to take all that punishment,i almost feel bad for gatti, i think Floyd isnt gonna be satisfied with winning, he's gonna try and punish gatti, really make a statement,so he can get thos PPV's.

I don't see Gatti getting KOed in this fight for some reason. Perhaps its more believable to see McGirt throwing in the towel, since he does tend to actually care about his fighters, unlike some trainers.

I could see him doing it to save the embarrassment, and the continuous onslaught that Mayweather may bring into the fight. However, I'm just betting it'll be a UD after 12 rounds.

I too think PBF will stop Gatti, maybe even quicker than DLH to prove something, however I feel that DLH could have put Gatti away in 2

Gatti doesnt go to war anymore. Its not happening, Mayweather is going to stop him by TKO after he embarrasses him a bit.

Interesting metaphor man. Though it seems accurate.

All Gatti needs to do is land one punch on floyds chin and its done. Everyone is saying how much of a boxing lesson floyd is gonna put on Gatti, not when Gatti is gonna go to Floyds body then he wont be able to dance around. Gatti is too strong for floyd, all he needs to do is put floyd on the ropes and its over for floyd, floyd cant take Gatti's punching power, Ward is way stronger than floyd and he couldnt put Gatti away in their first brawl. Gatti by KO ALL THE WAY!!!
