margarito would whoop cotto's ass again. would be a very hyped fight and good for boxing because of this. as for mosley well i do think margarito would put up a much better performance because he did seem sluggish in the first fight. i do believe margarito when he said he struggled to make weight, he didnt have that same energy he usually has. but i dont think margarito could actually beat mosley. first time they fought i thought margarito would ko mosley because i thought mosley was finished. but he proved me wrong, he is still almost as fast and strong as ever. much stronger and faster than margarito. margarito should probably stay away.

People seem to forget that Margarito's ban was not for one year; It was indefinite and he gets to appeal the suspensionafter one year. No sure thing that he will get reinstated. I would love to see Cotto kick his ass without his plaster but being an ex-Margarito fan I hope he never sees the light of day for what he did or what he allowed his trainers to do. He can make a decent living fighting in Mexico for all I care but he is nothing to me anymore and he doesnt deserve to receive a nice paycheck for fighting Cotto after what he did. I'm done with him.

No seas tan mamon. If Cotto or any other of my favorite fighters (which once included Margarito) cheated I would throw them in the waste basket. If you have any respect for the sweet science show some diignity for what they do.

No Rematch

Well, I don't know if there is going to be a rematch because according to Cotto espndeportes.espn.go.com/news/story?id=919965&s=box&type=story
he will not fight Margarito again. He said "I don't care what Margarito says, he lost all of his credibility, reputation and benefit from boxing. He will not earn not one more penny using Miguel Cotto's name". I think that it all will depend on what Arum says.

i feel very very sorry for margaritos first opponent when he returns. this man has no regard for human life. he will be very hungry to ko whoever he has as he had not had his opponents blood on his hands in a very long time. someone may die in the ring if they are brave enough to fight this mexican.

i am also predicting mayweather goes back into retirement the moment margarito is cleared to fight again.

And you're wrong they never found plaster on his wraps. What he had was training pad inserts used to protect the knuckle. Under CSAC rules that constitutes an infraction.

What Resto did was load his wraps. If you saw the HBO special, they actually dipped his wraps in actual plaster and then took the padding out of the gloves!!

Thats loaded gloves. What Margarito did was just nothing. If he fought Mosley w/ those training pads, Mosley wouldn't have felt anything.
