Yes, he may be a good fighter in the future, but I've not seen anything to say that he will so far, he could end up being a shower of ****. To be honest I think he should focus on fighting at his own level and stop worrying about world titles, because with the titleholders at the moment, it's never gonna happen.
    Spot on, Jambo.

        Means very little

It's foolish to be making imaginative forecasts , and wording them as if they were authentic reports of fact, instead of............

In all fairness to Liston, Marty Marshall was very experienced, and Liston fought him again in a few months, when his jaw heealed. He Ko'd Marty somewhere in the middle of that fight.

Also didn't Hopkins lose his first fight? I think Benny Leonard, lost his 1st, or first 2-3 fights. The writer is correct, and there are loads of examples.

With a good trainer he might be good in the future, but if he carries on like this then he won't get anywhere.

He is only 21,and has had 8 or 9 fights already. He really needs a decent trainer and conditioner, and if he gets that he will go far. The problem he might have is blowing his career before he is in his mid 20's, which is a serious possibility if he carries on with his current set up.

I read an article where a guy had heard about Steward's interest in Fury so the writer of the article decided to take a look and see what all the hype was about, he equated the work Fury needed to building a Pyramid from the bottom up in the pissing rain, he suggested Tyson had balance problems and that he needs a lot of work, this was before the McDermott fight to.

Thus Far My Ignorant Opinion on Tyson Fury:
                    - overhyped
                    - matches made to build record not boxer
                    - can not box
                    - too much invested, too much talk over someone how has not been tested
