Why are some boxing fans like this?

Just give a man some credit who on paper took a really dangerous fight for him underprepared.

Zak Chelli is an actual school teacher who took the fight on a few weeks notice.

It speaks to Chelli's professionalism, toughness, resilience, self-belief and yes talent.

So yeah give the man his pay day. Nobody should put an asterisk against this. It's disrespectful. This is boxing and this why 2 men climb into the ring not just 1.

That was more of Morrell just really underperforming than Chelli winning.

That was more about Morrell underestimating his last-minute, schoolteacher opponent. And Chelli fighting a big-name opponent like his life depended on it. Result = Morrell GTFKO!

Morrell needs to go back down to 168lbs. It's night and day between how he fought at 168lbs and what he's done at 175lbs. It looks like he doesn't have the power he showed at 168lbs so has been less effective. Morrell is a big super-middleweight and things are wide open down there so he can certainly continue his career there. At 175lbs he is in constant danger - maybe a fight with Buatsi or Yarde if he decides to stay.
