Comments Thread For: Ring Magazine: TURKI PLANNING JANUARY DATE TO STAGE INOUE-RODRIGUEZ

    Spray_resistant trial by fire

Jesse gets only one fight at 118 followed by 1 fight at 122 to acclimate himself to the division before facing Naruto Ninja Naoya

Dont see the size being that big a factor as Naruto Ninja Naoya started off tiny too and then filled out over time to 122

“ … I love going to Japan anyways so if I were to fight out there for the first time, that would be great.”

Alalshikh plans to stage the event with the biggest fan capacity possible as he seeks a stadium to break the Japanese attendance record.

A special edition Ring Magazine belt will be designed for the super fight to commemorate the event.

My only criticism is the lead time. Why wait until January?

because Jesse is only moving to 118 for his upcoming fight

probably has one at 122 later this year before facing Naruto Ninja Naoya at 122 in Jan

Does any of that really prepare him for Inoue? I say just get it on now. Having Nakatani and Inoue share a bill actually slowed momentum imo.

Fair enough. What does Inoue do in the meantime? Rest, fight a mando if he has one?

Jessie is good, really good but not some unbelievable fighter who I think could jump multiple weighclesses beating the best.

Calculated risk for life changing money?

True, but is this really an interesting fight? I see it as an easy stoppage win for Inoue since he proved he is better than everyone in manlet boxingland.
