Moving back down to 175lb with other big fights makes more sense because the Bivol fight will also generate a tonne of revenue.

Right now, Opetaia beats him. Too bad the fight won't be next due to timing and many obstacles involved, but it's a future fight in the making that will bring enormous hype if they continue to dominate in their fields.

Opetia didn't trouble Brandon Glanton and their fight went the distance. I don't think Glanton would make it past round 7 with Benavidez to be honest. I think Benavidez's subtle defence gets him through Opetia's best offence. I not be to sure if Opetia is able to weather Benavidez's best offence.

Not every fight needs a stoppage - it varies on the toughness and durability of your opponent. Despite no stoppage, I thought he and his team came up with a very strategic game plan against a tough foe; they showed me there is more to it. It's about being smart and not going all out chasing the K.O like in his previous fights.

prior to cruiser at 175 he said in passing that he walks around fit at 205

before facing Fat Gilbert he said in an interview that he was going to add 5 pounds of muscle

so 210 is a reasonable conclusion for his fit walking weight
