That's the exact reason there! It would be brutal and humbling especially after all the excuses and trash Canelo has spouted and him. To have it done by a another Mexican would be the cherry on top

Faster feet than the flat footed Fat Dave who often cross steps

Saul Santos is better at cutting the ring off than Fat Dave

Saul Santos controlled Caleb and ko’d him. Fat Dave 8-4’d him with Caleb being up 4-2 going into the 2nd half

Top Soviet Bivol will have to be on his clinch game + duck and roll under to get out

getting away with this shows just how talented Fat Dave is

Q2 2027 at the earliest because trilogy would be Q4 2026

Let see if they make Top Soviet Bivol an offer that has him ditch trilogy to fight Fat Dave instead

Fat Dave can also outbid Buff Guy Jai for Noel fight
PBC can go take a hike.

Benavidez is the worst opponent to apply a clinch strategy i can't remember one fighter who wasn't getting hurt whileclinching Benavidez. Plant got hurt several times, Andrade, even Morrell took big shots while trying to clinch, Yarde was badly hurt while attempting to clinch and lastly Zurdo yesterday who ate several hard shots everytime he tried to clinch. Benavidez sometimes even actively starts the clinch to let you feel secure and then come with his left hook thats one of his favorite things to do.
Yeah agree, Benavidez is very good at throwing short, powerful hooks from the clinch

Any human being on the planet will gladly accept a $250 million payout to get beaten and humiliated. You must have some other reasons why you think Canelo should be REWARDED a quarter of a billion dollars.

Canelo has failed PED tests, fought at numerous catchweights, received gifts from judges, weight bullied many of his opponents and shamelessly ducked his mandatory challenger for 3 years... what's to like about the guy, or am I missing something?

Of all the fights at light heavy and Cruiser, the one I want to see is Benavidez vs Opetai. Who Opetai fights next is going to tell us if he finally breaks out or holds back or is held back. Opetai is physically very strong and his power is unmistakable. I could be wrong but I have the slight edge for Opetai. He has fought through injuries and won by KO, even with a a broken jaw. I want to see if Benavidez is hurt if he can survive and regroup against Opetai.
