I’d say Eddie, better promoter. Dana, more ruthless and prolific businessman.

Eddie can make HUGE fights with domestic talents. You can actually tell he loves the business and becomes friends with some of his fighters, and really looks after them.

Dana took over an entire sport and holds onto the lion share of the profits in a monopoly, you can barely call the other orgs competitors its that crazy. He has some crazy talents and personalities in the UFC but he doesn’t make the most of them, in fact most of them are ironed out into UFC uniformity, cookie cutter way of doing things. They might not be “PC” but they’re definitely corporate.

I think PBC suffered from some of the same problems even though they put on some mega fights.

Truth is Dibella hates all top poromters so deeply because they put him out of business since he couldnt compete with them. Now he is rooting for someone to put them out of business even if it hurts the sport in the long way.

Dana is only able to do great match making in mma because the UFC is the main organization for it. Zuffa will be different because it doesn't control the majority of fighters and so far Zuffa has been stand off-ish with other promoters and boxing commissions. In my estimation Zuffa has started off successfully, but not as successful as PBC when they first formed.

Tell me you dont watch the UFC or you new to the sport of MMA without telling me. Since years they do not put on the best vs the best. Nr 1 contenders dont get the deserved titleshot for multiple years and Dana White saying as response i dont give a f**k about the rankings. Also they failed to make the best heavyweights fight each other since 2021 until know.
And the worst UFC is one promotion and never cross promotes which never allows you to really know who is the best.

Also they give fighters Dana White privilige and move them to title shots with weak and favourable match ups while others have to go through all best guys for years just for someone else to move in and get a titleshot in their first or second UFC fight. Or guys that get 2 titleshots and immediate rematches after being outclassed but guys sitting as number 1 are skipped.

UFC in the last 3 years is worse than Boxing just look at the hardcore MMA community and how upset they are with what the UFC became. And this year is the worst year ever so far.

Lets not even go into UFC robbing fighters and breaching contracts left and right which lead to him paying back 400 million and another lawsuit that seems to be settled around 1 billion.

UFC is the best propaganda machine ever in sports history and has the most powerful backing in sports history as well but you really dont want them to take over boxing if you any brain left.
