Yeeah, these former kickboxers are never good once they choose Boxing. I would imagine the stance is much different and how you throw punches deviates slightly from traditional boxing. Why isn't this guy fighting Rico? That's the fight everyone wants to see.

Both Klitchkos started out as kickboxers. Vitaliy was some kind of full contact world champion...

Kickboxers crossing over are usually defensively leaky, Vitali was, employing that lean back, arms out defence, however his height vs his opponents and iron chin meant he got away with It where most won't.

Vitali Klitschko was a kickboxer, George Groves, Dillian Whyte, Caleb Plant, Tenshin
Nieky Holzken I thought did a very good job exposing Callum Smiths weaknesses.

False Vitali was a amateur Boxer since he was a kid and fought at the highest amateur level while on the side also competing at KB but his main focus was Boxing from a very young age. He had almost 200 fights at the highest level competing at all big tournaments.

Klitschko, Groves and Plant all been Boxers since early amateur days and meanwhile on the side competed at KB but very early on focussed on Boxing as there main sport and all of them were high level amateurs. The same goes for Povetkin who was at the world championship level at amateur KB but his focus remained on Boxing.

Tenshin, Holzken and Whyte are good examples from Kickboxers moving to Boxing and all of them showed that they dont belong at World level. Tenshin is still young lets see what he can do.
