The sport rewards the fighters that are willing to make sacrifices. While i was reading through all this crying from Timmy boy i couldn't help but thinking about a real legend named Marvin Hagler who in my opinion had the right mindset when it came to preparing for a fight.

But yeah we live in a new world everyone must feel nice and comfortable 24/7 and have a bunch of cheerleaders around them in high end facilities with a kids playground in the gym so they can watch their kids playing while training. Fundora took his soul and made him feel sorry for himself leading to him quitting, he is damaged for good no trainer or location change will help here.

Tim can afford Jeff even after getting the money maker beat out of him. He doesnt see the privilage. What use is a title if he gets molly coddled all the time? How are you going to fight to improve your life if you feel comfy with the situation? Rich people dont need to go life or death, no matter how good they are.

Coner Benn is another one. 15 mil for Regis? I don't know what he will do without the meddling and the home cooking. He looks like spit off the pharm and his dad is talking retirement.

Bit silly. Australia isn't exactly a hotbed of boxing whereas in America you're going to find better sparring then anywhere else. The irony of Tim praising Fenech for working with Emanuel Stewart is that Fenech traveled to America for it whereas Tim doesn't want to travel anymore. I would wish him the best but he's trying to fight a guy that hasn't fought in 3 years.

Most top boxers were born with a plastic spoon in their mouth. They retire rich and go broke for not knowing about money. Floyd is a prime example. First the legs go, then the money, then the friends.

Name one person who was born rich that did anything in boxing. Just one.
