There is a story about Mexican frogs. If you hunt frogs, you need to keep them in a bucket with a lid on it or they will jump out. Except for Mexican frogs. You can put a Mexican frog in a bucket with no lid. If any frog tries to get out, the rest will pull him back in. DLH is pulling him back in.Comment

Oscar has a fiduciary obligation as a promoter, where he is obligated to do what is best for Ortiz' financial interest. How is leaving 12 on the table Ortiz best interest? I would balk too for 12 mil.Last edited by Corelone; 04-21-2026, 01:42 PM.Comment

thats all talk, ortiz nevre complianed once about what oscar was paying him hes got him great paydays and the boots fight would have been another one especially if it did good on ppv, i hope oscar sues this bozo for millionsComment

thats not what is happening though. if ortiz was offered 16 million previously that has nothing to do with what is offered now. the money is no longer there for whatever reason and its not golden boys fault, and if someone doesnt want to work with golden boy thats their right, ortiz still has a contract with them, and its still the best figth golden boy is offering. ortiz jr just got jealous of everyone else and the money being thrown around which i understand and now ortiz jr wants easy fights until his contract is up which apparently golden boy did not offer which is a breach of their contract.Last edited by daggum; 04-21-2026, 02:03 PM.Comment

the fight has been kicked down the road for how long anyone knows, sods law one or both lose anyway soon, i mean ortiz could have lost fights already if i remember right and boots has not been up against good guys so hes a bit unknown what he will be like even tho hes got massive hype for yearsComment
