Seems like the jab is hanging out there as a measuring stick or just one that 1-2-3 flicks with no intention, Benavidez will make you pay with his right hand, or beat you to it and lead with is, comes right over the top with snap. I think Whitaker has some game and ability but even with the movement, if DB can get over his hjabs, it's gonna unravel.

Whitaker vs Morrell - Morrell can be good, but he seems to lack real-time ring IQ, you don't really know if he will ever rise further or just continue to show glimpses. I'd watch that one.

Whittakers promoter isn't going to cash him out just yet , he will be kept far away from both of the Davids until there's enough money to be made. I think that Whittaker has some talent and skills but doubt that he'd ever beat Morrell or Benavidez.

i remember him quitting when the going got tough against one bum and taking an easy way out... looks like he has just made a conscious decision to stay fighting bums and not step up his opposition since

I'd like to see Ben fight a guy like Najee Lopez. That would be a good test to see where he is at.

Lopez has gone to war. Whittaker cried about his ankle at the first sniff of it.

I know who wins this hypothetical matchup.
