It shows how far the division has fallen that clowns like Ryan, Rolly and Benn can be in title fights at 147. It's sad.

Tony Sims said something very interesting.

"Why would Conor Benn knock him out and not Josh Taylor or Jack Catterall? Do you get what I mean? I don't get why people are expecting him to do that" To say that as his trainer means something. He knows Benn is neither on the level of Taylor or Catterall, considering how much bigger Benn is he probably dont even believe Benn is anywhere near that level.

Taylor also fought Prograis in 2019.....A prime version when he was #2 in the division.

Catteral even fought a way fresher version and not a shot, injured one.

Also, Benn is much bigger than both of those two guys.

So not sure what Tony Simms is trying to spin.

I think it is a bit disrespectful comparing Ryan Garcia and Rolly Romero to Conor Benn 'they have both fought extensively throughout the amateur ranks, and? They have consistently been involved in real fights during their professional careers'.

Note: Conor Benn has only been matched in fights, which have all been manufactured so the likely-hood of him wining is dramatically increased 'catch weights, rehydration clauses, semi-retired fighters the list goes on for Benn'.

To conclude: But I do agree, that skill for skill this era of the entire Welter Weight Divisions is not super talented 'I don't rate Ryan Garcia, but? For sure if he makes the weight limited in solid condition, he should really be able to smash Conor Benn out of sight'

I would even backed Rolly Romero to beat Conor Benn at 147 pounds 'Benn has never proven himself at top level in any weight divisions. Beating a weight drained Chris Eubank Junior, really does not prove anything' etc.

              I doubt he makes 147.

Benn hasn't fought a decent live' one yet and although he's got himself 'A' level fit with a good trainer anyone his natural size that is elite will beat him .If he wasn't Nigel Benn's son he'd be struggling to get out of European level.
