Time to nail your colours to the mast. Who wins?
For me, if Wilder was ever even top 5 level then the levels should show and he should win this with ease.
But I don't believe he was ever that. He got fed Stiverne and then Ortiz was hand reared for him to beat. He was never any kind of legitimate challenger and fell to the first capable fighter he faced. And that capable fighter was a massively diminished version of Tyson Fury, who got to build a second career off the back of the myth of Wilder.
The arguments that Wilder can't pull the trigger don't wash with me. He can pull it just fine against guys that can't move. At the top level he can't. And it remains to be seen whether he can pull it against a decent (no better than that) contender in Chisora.
My prediction - this diminished version of Chisora, who was fringe contender level at his peak, walks down and beats up Wilder and proves his career was an absolute myth. Though it was decent entertainment and I wish him all the best in retirement.
