Itauma needs 1 big win to convince Usyk

Usyk -Itauma is a big fight in theory. N 1 p4p fighter against unbeaten hard hitting southpaw from Uk.

You can sell that shl.it. In ideal world, Itauma fights Kabayel next and beats him. that would make Usyk -Itauma really big.

Shame it will probably never happen.

Passes the eye test, but there's no reward there for Usyk. Itauma WILL be a described as a bum if Usyk beats him now.

Frank and Turki don't work together now too, so Usyk will be difficult to make without a mandatory position.

Kabayel is the perfect fight. Mandatory position to pressure Usyk. But when Kabayel is already mandatory, why take on Itauma?

If they want to slow it down slightly, I think the loser of Wardley/DDD would work. Former World Champion.

Not saying I want this, but Itauma was breathing heavy v Franklin, so maybe a Chisora or Miller type would be a low risk fight to address and keep working on stamina.

He was breathing heavy because he threw 120 punches in the first two rounds, most of them being power shots. Nothing wrong with his stamina but he needs to calm down, which to be fair he realized himself after 2 rounds.

        You noticed that too?

Never said there was, but he needs to learn to pace himself.

That's why a Miller or Chisora maybe the right fight to take, even if I'm not massively keen on it (not sure how durable Del is these days though, but he will be in Itaumas chest).

Fabio beating Usyks used goods in DDD, doesnt neccesarily warrant a Usyk fight. So maybe fabio beat Moses, then Usyk fights Fabio.
