Tip[ of the hat to Freddy Fundora - his daughter is unified champ and his son is unified champ - I don't think Jermall was unified at 160 when Jermell was at 154 and in any case neither were trained by their father - so is Fundora senior unique?

"They need to come to me": in PBC lingo, this means that fighters need to drop their management and join PBC before any fight can be made.

He really should be fighting at 175 or higher. His sister should be at 135. Disgraceful that the sport allows this.

So what's wrong with that? All the other promoters do it. Stanionis had to go to Matchroom for the Boots fight. Devin had to go to Top Rank for the Loma fight and then had to go to GBP for the Ryan fight. So why is it so different for PBC? HUH? What's the one reason? Just the oneeeeee little reason?

I think it's going to take someone with undeniable skill, power, and a bit of luck to replicate the Mendoza KO (which, while impressive, I still contend was a lot of luck). Not that Fundora is some unbeatable monster, but he has vastly improved and his attributes are simply a LOT to overcome when he properly utilizes them like he did with Thurman. And Thurman could have been that guy seven years ago, but the Thurman we got last night was old, slow, semi-corpulent, and bewildered.

Thurman was lacking his speed and explosiveness. Shame seeing him go out like that but he spent most of him prime injured and then he finally got the Pac-Man money fight and looked past it even then.

Would like to see Fundora vs Ortiz or Boots. I think Ortiz fight is winnable as he’s not hard to find but Boots might be elite at closing that distance.

Fundora should fight "American" old timers like Jermell and Spence. Those are still huge PPV fights over here and if he wins both he is the KING of American boxing until someone else comes along. Lets go Fundora! CVheck all my post over the last 5 years and you'll see I've always been a tall...I mean huge Fundora fan!
