are u suggesting Keith has a chance? I don't see it - not only the handicaps you mentioned but this is his first serious fight at 154 - he has everything against him - I find him a very likeable character apart from his talking in the 3rd person, but for me , if he wins this would be the biggest upset since maybe Horn beat Pac - not comparing the fighters, just the shock value.

No, I am not saying that. I’m saying Keith is heads above Tszyu whose career is essentially over.
That said, Keith has a decent chance. If he’s able to close the distance and make this an inside dirty fight, Keith can win. If anything, Keith typically throws bombs and Fundora is there to catch them. With his face.

Tszyu was your typical Aussie export who fell just like the rest of them all. While I do agree that inactivity diminishes your skills as does age, you cannot compare Tszyu to Keef at all.
That's called Revisionist History, and you know it. Many fans were over-the-moon with Tszyu a few years back, especially after he demolished Tony Harrison. Hell, there were even some fans who thought he had a good chance against Jermell. Now after three convincing defeats, Tim is a "bum".

I like Keith, especially when he talks boxing could listen to him break down fights for hours because he’s so knowledgeable about the sport and I hope he transitions into an analyst role when he’s done. But this fight here I just can’t see him getting past fundora who’s got the momentum right now who’s younger and fresher and obviously we all know a lot bigger and been active I just think Thurman hasn’t been active enough or had the fights to get him ready for something like this especially at his age now and the injury’s he’s had. Can see him probably getting stopped on his stool in 8-9 rounds

Tszyu is just the latest in a long line of Australian "prodigies" who couldn't live up to the local hype. We saw it with Horn, Katsidis, Kambosos, Green etc—all projected to rule their divisions until they stepped onto the world stage. The moment they faced real international heat, the fairy tale ended abruptly.
Tszyu was touted as a generational titan, only for the narrative to crumble the moment he faced top-tier international competition. For these fighters, the "fairy tale" rarely survives the jump from domestic hype to global reality.
And I have never called him a bum. Like I said, his career is pretty much over.
Thurman can definitely win if he can close the distance. The goal for Fundora is to keep him at arms length with his long jab. Seriously, if Thurman can get inside then I wouldn't be surprised if he wins a shoot out. Fundora has the edge in activity, youth, height, however, Thurman has the advantage in power, experience, RING IQ, and I also think Thurman moves better than Fundora. Which is what he's going to have to do if he wants to win this fight.
i seem to remember Fundora as the guy who dont use his reach no matter who is in there. i could be wrong but inside outside he will easily take to either but what is one of his weapons is how unorthodox he really is, and the way the arms and punches come at an opponent. Fundora is NOT without faults in the ring that is for sure, but this time it will not matter. The match makers got what they wanted, now i want to see it back fire.
Thurman's top wins are vs the beatable Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter. They were close wins. He never fought the top guy. Nor did he fight Spence. He got out hustled by old man Pac. He's nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. Fundora looks like he's been working on his jab. I think he's going to bust up Thurman from a distance. Keith has a puncher's chance.
